How do you spend your last night in New York?

We spent the morning on a walking tour of Hell's Kitchen.  On the tour we ate amazing kosher falafel, golden fried shrimp, baked goods from Amy's Bakery, desserts from the only Greek bakery in North America to still make it's own filo pastry, New York pizza, cheesecake from the Little Pie Company and hotdogs and papaya drink from Papaya dog.

Then we had a nap (and in my case another run in Central Park) and tossed up how to spend our last night in New York.

You don't have to, but I bought a sandwich and ate it.

Then we went to the East Village and had Italian.

Then we went up the Empire State building.  I figure I'll let New York speak for herself.

It was a beautiful night.
We went back to our hostel and prepared ourselves for the first day on the road.

  1. Your eating keeps everyone in Brisvegas (and probably other exotic climes) busy with their search engines of choice. The guys at my work (my tech specialists) had to find out about Jambalaya today, and at Andrew's work they had to search for cheese steaks - after discussions on the Wisconsin burger! Eat on.
